NBA Week 27: Thursday Betting Tips

    September 7, 2020

It’s another glorious week at the bubble and anyone who has been following the playoffs would agree that it has been quite the competition. Now all our 8 teams have progressed to Round 2 of the playoffs and it is quite clear that this is the week when we see our Conference finalists emerge. Let us take a look at betting tips for our Thursday fixture.

The first match of the night is Milwaukee Bucks vs. Miami Heat. History repeats itself and it seems like that is going to be the case between these two teams.

They met at the playoffs back in 2013 where Heat won all 4 games and now, the Heat has won 3 games in Round 2 and might just seal things off with a resounding victory since they have a fixture on Sunday night as the Bucks have very little chance. Both teams have posted more than 100 points each, with a joint scoreline of 200 points. The Sunday fixture would decide the faith of both teams.

The next game of the night is Los Angeles Lakers vs. Houston Rockets. Thursday would be their Game 4 as the Rockets was the last team to qualify for the playoffs. Already, they lead the series with 1 game but the Rockets have beaten the Lakers twice this season, this year, having won 3 of their past 5 meetings.

The Lakers have a better playoffs record, having won 20 out of 36 playoff meetings, although the last time they met was in 2009. But things might turn out different this year. In the first game, the final scoreline was 112-97 which was very similar to their August 6 meeting in the regular season where the Rockets beat the Lakers 113-97. Both times, the Lakers was unable to reach 100 points but the final scoreline was over 200 points.
